October 23, 2013 – STMC receive a plaque of recognition from the Cooperative Development Authority as Most Outstanding Cooperative – Large Category in the province of Laguna.
The Sulong sa Tagumpay Multi-purpose Cooperative (STMC) formerly known as NXP Semiconductors Calamba Employees Multi-Purpose Cooperative (NSCEMC) and Philips Semiconductors Calamba Employees Multi-purpose Coop (PSCEMC) was registered on December 7, 2001 to provide loan facilities and an additional source of income for the employees of Philips Semiconductors Calamba (PSC).
Sixteen founding incorporators attended the Pre-membership Education Seminar (PMES) facilitated by the Community Relations Group (COMRELL) of the Light Industry and Science Park II. Each of them paid P500.00 as initial paid-up capital. Week’s later, interim committees were formed and ad-hoc officers were also selected.
A series of meetings and sessions were held in order to plan out important activities leading to completion of the Cooperative By-Laws, Articles of Cooperation, Credit Policies and other needed documents necessary for registration.
March 10, 2002 – 393 members had their first coop contributions deducted via payroll deduction. April 15, 2002 – the COOP hired its 2 coop personnel to man the daily activities of PSCEMC.
December 18 & 19, 2006 – The general assembly approves the changing of names from Philips Semiconductors Calamba Employees Multi-Purpose Cooperative (PSCECM) to NXP Semiconductors Calamba Employees Multi-Purpose Cooperative.

November 5, 2008 – The NSCEMC was recognized by the Laguna Provincial Cooperative Development Council as One (1) of the “NATATANGING KOOPERATIBA” in the province of Laguna.
